BCC9804 Cometary. This is a beautiful and rare piece.

           A. 225 grams slice in half,    B. 130 grams    C. 5 grams    D. 20 grams   The slices appear lighter than the fragment because of part polished surface.
The sample appears well sorted from a macroscopic scale and the entire mass of grains is very compact. It has some unusual mm sized FeO streaks that appear to be oxidized Fe dust pariticles. The bottom photos below shows a pockets, pits and cavities of material removed through weathering possibly a weaker section of grains removed from the main mass through hydrothermal weathering action.
