The image above shows an ancient sample with a shiny partial fusion crust preserved on the top side. The lack of fusion crusting around the rest of the sample indicates either heavy weathering but points a small piece of a larger sample. |
The under side of
the sample as do several other BCC samples, has an unusual sub-mm
striping never seen before in any meteorite. While the
other sample's interiors shows a highly compact
ground mass, this sample displays a general affinity for
appearing overly dry to the point of being friable, but is in
fact very cohesive.
